All goods consigned for sale are listed, and you will receive a copy of the consignment note. You will be notified before the sale into which goods are consigned and, again, when the item(s) have been sold or remain unsold.
Transport Of Goods
When you instruct me to consign items for sale, I prepare a detailed list of the items to be collected. I send a copy of this list to you, the vendor or owner, for your records. I use a trusted local transport courier, with prices discussed and quoted in advance. Smaller items I can transport free of charge in my own vehicle, helping me manage your risks effectively. I ask that you negotiate all charges directly and confirm collection appointments with the carriers on first contact. Auctioneers or their representatives are not responsible for transport charges and cannot negotiate on your behalf. Payment to the carriers must be made on the day by cash, cheque, or BACS.
