Raising Funds for Local & National Charities

 

I have raised thousands of pounds through Fundraising in Warwickshire and across the Midlands for local and National charities and important causes. You might, therefore, like to consider raising funds for a specific charity or cause.

 

Over the years, I have developed several successful formats including:

 

• An Antiques Road Show style event

• Antiques Quiz Night

• Charity Auction

For example:

​

I held a Quiz Evening to raise funds for the Welford on Avon Village Memorial Hall Fund where the local pub provided a curry supper while the audience of some 60 residents and friends tried their hand at identifying 20+ antique and other items. This was followed by an auction and raffle. We raised about £2,000.

​

I also held an Antiques Valuation Evening at Mappleborough Green Village Hall in support of Morton Bagot and Oldberrow churches (with a donation to Hope & Kindness) which included a Fish 'N Chip Supper and Antiques Quiz when we raised £1,228.56 net of expenses. ​

Other charities for whom I've raised funds include CRUK, the Graham Fulford Charitable Trust, Prostate Cancer Support Federation for FREE PSA Testing to help detect Prostate Cancer in its early stages, the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, Motor Neurone Disease, The Croft School, Alveston Leys BUPA Nursing Home, Cancer Research UK and Warwickshire Air Ambulance (Kineton High School).
