All goods consigned for Sale are listed and you will receive a copy of the Consignment Note. You will be notified before the Sale into which goods are consigned and, again, when the item(s) have been sold or remain unsold.

 

Transport of Goods

We do not have our own carriers but use subcontractors AB REMOVALS. While we are pleased to arrange transport appointments, all charges must be negotiated directly with AB REMOVALS.

 

When instructed to consign items for sale, we will prepare a list of the items to be collected. 

• A copy of the list will be sent to you, the vendor/owner; and

• A copy of the list will be sent to AB REMOVALS. 

 

From 2023, charges are £63.00 per hour for a van and two men. However, this is subject to change.

 

Please ensure that you negotiate all charges and confirm appointment(s) to collect items with the carriers on initial contact.

 

The auctioneers or their representatives are not responsible for any charges nor will they enter into any negotiation of charges on behalf of a vendor.

 

Payment to the carriers must be made on the day by cash, cheque or BACS.
